Retail

Our lighting design for retail, whether it's a shopping malls or an individual store, is based on understanding retail environment, trends and operating needs. For any retail operation to be successful, it needs to attract customer to enter which accounts for 35% of sales completion. Once customer is inside the store, our goal is to display merchandize in the "best light" to complete the sale. To minimize the returns caused by customer dissatisfaction with merchandize appearing different outside of the store, we make sure that merchandize will look the same in the store and when in use.

We work collaboratively with our clients to optimize capital and operating costs and to increase sales.

For Destination Toronto located in Pierson International Airport, our lighting concept created individual neighbourhoods of retailers connected by the major streets and infrastructure of the airport. Project was completed on time, on budget, consuming 15% less than allowable lighting energy and outperforming projected sales by 200%.

For Gifts of Raven located in Vancouver International Airport, we resolved the challenge to deliver dramatic lighting for a roofless store, which effectively highlights merchandise available for sale, by designing a low voltage system that preserved the transparency of the store.
